Frequently asked questions

Is Digital Specialist really free to start?

Yes. The Basic plan is free forever for up to 5 employees, with no card required — map, tasks, team chat and AI agents are all included. You only move to Silver or Gold when your team or project count grows.

Do I pay per user or per company?

Per company. It's one flat subscription that covers your whole team — not a per-seat price. Adding a teammate within your plan's limit costs nothing extra.

What if we have more than 50 people?

That's the Enterprise plan. Gold covers up to 50 employees; above that we set limits and pricing with you directly rather than through a fixed tier — write to us and we'll work out what your team needs.

Do I need to install an app, or can I work in a browser?

Both. There's an Android app for the field and a full web app at app.ds-app.biz for managers at a desk — the same account works across both.

Is there an iPhone (iOS) app?

Today there's a native Android app for the field and a full web app at app.ds-app.biz that runs in any modern browser — including Safari on iPhone and iPad — so iOS users can work from the web app right now. A dedicated iOS app is on our roadmap.

What can the AI actually do — do I need to be technical?

No technical setup is needed. Mira, the built-in assistant, lets anyone create tasks by text or voice, ask about projects and set reminders. For automation, you can also add AI agents that connect via MCP and handle work like a teammate.

Can AI agents really do work like a team member?

Yes. In Digital Specialist a person and an AI agent are interchangeable team members — an agent gets tasks on the same board and map, with the same permissions, and reports progress like anyone else. Agents connect through MCP, so they can pick up assignments, update tasks and post results automatically. See the AI agents page for details.

How does location tracking work?

Field members appear live on the map during work, with route heatmaps and visit history for geo zones — useful for shift accountability. Location data is tied to work and retained only for a limited period.

Is our data private and secure?

Yes. Each company's data is isolated to that company, traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and location is visible only inside your own company — never sold or shared with third parties. Tracking is transparent: the app shows a persistent notification whenever it's active, location is tied to work and kept only for a limited period, and you stay in control of your data in line with GDPR.

Does it work where mobile coverage is poor?

Yes. Messages you send offline are queued and sync automatically once you're back online, so nothing is lost out in the field.

How do I subscribe or cancel?

To subscribe: in the app open Settings → Subscription, pick a plan and confirm — payment goes through Google Play. Only a company admin can change the plan, and it covers the whole team rather than each seat. To cancel: open the Google Play app → your profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Digital Specialist → Cancel subscription. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the company automatically returns to the free Basic plan — nothing is deleted.
